Eliminating Optical Birefringence
Molding clear plastics like Polycarbonate (PC) or Acrylic (PMMA) is drastically different from molding opaque resins. The primary challenge is internal stress, which causes birefringence—an optical defect where light refracts improperly, leading to distorted visibility or rainbow effects under polarized light.
Our engineers expertly manipulate injection speeds, melt temperatures, and holding pressures across our 35+ advanced presses to ensure a uniform, stress-free molecular flow, resulting in optically perfect lenses and light pipes.


Zero Dust. Zero Black Specks.
In clear molding, a single microscopic dust particle or burnt resin speck (black speck) renders the entire part a reject. This is especially critical for ISO 13485 medical diagnostic components.
To combat this, we execute clear molding projects within our ISO Class 8 Cleanroom environment. We utilize specialized purged resin drying systems and dedicated all-electric injection machines to ensure absolutely zero particulate contamination.
