High-Temperature Polymer Injection Molding

Mastering the Heat: The Tooling Difference
If the mold is not heated uniformly, the part will suffer from severe internal stress, warpage, and brittle failure. This is a tooling challenge, and tooling is Jucheng’s core strength.
- Specialized Oil Heating: We utilize advanced hot oil temperature controllers to maintain extreme, uniform heat across the entire mold cavity.
- 5-Axis Precision Venting: High-temp resins generate corrosive gasses. Our 25+ 5-axis CNCs machine microscopic vents (down to 0.01mm) to prevent diesel burns and voiding.
- Hardened Tool Steels: We build high-temp molds exclusively from premium hardened steels (H13, S136) to withstand the aggressive wear of glass or carbon-filled high-temp polymers.

Why Replace Metal with High-Temp Polymers?
Drastic Weight Reduction
High-performance polymers offer a strength-to-weight ratio that rivals or exceeds many metals. Replacing an aluminum aerospace bracket with carbon-filled PEEK can reduce weight by up to 50% while maintaining structural integrity.
Exceptional Chemical Resistance
Materials like PPS and PEEK are virtually inert to harsh chemicals, automotive fluids, aerospace hydraulic oils, and repeated aggressive hospital sterilization processes (autoclave, gamma, EtO).
Inherent Flame Retardancy
Unlike standard plastics, resins like PEI (Ultem) are naturally flame retardant, generating extremely low smoke and toxicity when burned. This makes them mandatory for aviation interiors and high-voltage electrical enclosures.
