Optimizing Soft-Touch Tool Release (Draft Angles)

Because Sarlink 3140 is exceptionally soft and flexible, parts can easily stick to cores, causing severe ejector pin drag marks. Jucheng’s tooling division machines generous draft angles (minimum 1.5° to 2.0°) and uses wide ejector pins or stripper bars to distribute demolding forces evenly.

With its ultra-soft elastomer base, molten TPV can seep easily into minor mold gaps, causing parting line flash. Jucheng’s tooling division uses 5-axis CNC machines to achieve micro-tolerances, keeping mold parting clearances strictly within 0.005mm on premium S136 stainless steel mold cavity blocks.

Cold Mold Temperature Control (Quick Freeze)

We maintain mold temperatures at 20°C–40°C (68°F to 104°F) using pressurized water chillers. Keeping tools cold is critical to freeze the soft elastomeric phase quickly, allowing for automatic, warp-free ejection. Melt temperatures are controlled at 180°C–220°C.
